Artistic stained glass windows on the cruise liners Costa Fortuna and Costa Magica

In the first years of the 21st century the new and luxurious Costa Fortuna was built up at the construction site of Genoa. Albano Poli created an artistic glass window in the party hall of this luxurious ocean-going liner. He decided to depict one of the most well-known luxury liners that were built up in that construction site and that, just like the new one, represented a flagship product for the whole of Italy: the legendary Michelangelo liner of 1965 standing out in a night sky.

In 2004 Albano Poli created another stained glass window for another liner belonging to the Costa fleet: Costa Magica, where the whole internal design draws inspiration from magnificent and magic Italian venues. The stained glass window depicts Portofino, one of the most striking Italian landscapes as well as the city where the history of Costa Crociere started from.
